  • "This isn't your typical prenatal yoga book- it's way more! The author's knowledge as a experienced yoga teacher, childbirth educator, and pelvic floor educator come together to give readers a thorough understanding of every aspect of the pregnant person's experience before labor, during, and after. Color photos throughout the book demonstrate the concepts. While a book can never replace a certified prenatal yoga teacher training, this book comes as close as it can get!"

  • "I loved this book! As a nurse working with postpartum families, I know how overwhelming the birthing experience can be for people. I hear their stories of feeling out of control and without choices during this huge experience. This book can give families knowledge and choice. To know there are options, alternative ways to approach your pregnancy and birth is so freeing for parents just trying to do the right thing, but maybe feeling like they don’t really know what that is for them. Knowledge is power and this book gives families the power to choose what there birthing experience will look like from a place of knowledge and compassion, not fear."

Yet her tone in this book is not that of "clinician teaching patient," but "Wise Woman awakening others to their own fierce wisdom." There's precious information here that you won't find anywhere else. Indispensable for yoga professionals and parents-to-be alike."
